Colorless / White Sapphire

White sapphire is a member of Corundum family. Sometimes pure corundums are completely colorless. Natural white sapphire is rare compared to colored sapphire, because during its formation in nature, other materials contribute small amounts of impurities that impart color to the crystals. In Indian astrology, it is believed that White Sapphire gemstone carries the positive energies of planet Venus.
